Mandalay

C’est le 31 décembre, 30 degré dehors, tout va bien, prêt pour fêter le premier de l’an dans cette ville ou tous les bars ferment à 23 heures. Au final, je rencontrerai deux australiens cherchant comme moi un bar fermé, on trouvera un petit bar local pour boire quelques bières avant d’attendre la nouvelle année devant la forteresse. J’en profite pour vous souhaiter à tous une bonne et heureuse année 2015.

It’s the 31st December, 30 degrees outside, all good, ready to celebrate the new years in this city where all the bars closed at 11pm. At the end, I met two Australians guys who was looking like me for a closed bar, we found a nice local bar to drink few beers before waiting for the new year in front of the fortress. I wish you all a happy new year 2015.

Le lendemain visite de la forteresse, quelques monastères et une colline pour le couché de soleil.

The day after, visit of the fortress, few monasteries and a hill for the sunset.

Le troisième jour, je prends un vélo pour aller visiter quelques quartiers un peu plus reculés et observer un peu la vie. Puis je me rends vers le bâtiment le plus photographié de Birmanie, un pont en bois et ces pécheurs debout dans l’eau.

The third days, I took a bike to visit some suburbs a little bit further and to observe the life. And then I went to the most photographed building in Myanmar, a wooden bridge and the fisherman, stand in the water.

La journée se finira par un buffet avec deux françaises et une représentation des moustaches brothers, comédien birmans ayant fait de la prison pendant la dictature et aujourd’hui autorisé seulement à se reproduire dans leur maison.

This day will end by a buffet with two French girls and a show of the moustaches brothers, Burma actors who went to jail during the dictatorship and today can only make representation in their house.
